Wasted Puppets

Some album titles directly catch my attention and « Puppet Show » was one of them. I mean, who doesn’t know the « Muppet Show ». The word game is interesting but catching attention isn't always good as if the rest doesn't follow, it can fast become a dissapointment.

When I read the influences of the band, I tell myself that it looks promising. Personally, when you quote as heroes Hendrix, G N' R or KISS (and some other big names), you can be pretty sure I will take interest in that band.

So two things who catch my attention, it becomes interesting so let's discover the music of that rock group formed in 2011 and coming from Rovaniemi..but oh wait, fan of KISS, from Rovaniemi..it directly makes me think on one of my biggest idols. Like we say with me « never 2 without 3 ». That band definitly had everything for catching my attention.

It is so that I was pretty curious to listen to the debut album of « Wasted Puppets ».

I indeed have the impression to listen to an album from the 70-80s'. You like it or not but for those who like that period, they will get what they like for sure. This album is somewhere progressive, no not the rock but more in a way that the further we go in the album, the better the songs become and how more you hear what they can propose. It gives me an impression of an evolution, like if the beginning of an album are songs of a band who discover them, who search their style and that slowly you see the same band becoming better, more technic, knowing more what they want to

propose us

Is it wanted or not, I don't know but I personally find it's somewhere interesting, at least when you listen to the album, each song may be different.

« Puppet Show » will offer a good time on the 70-80 s'. I think that the others can also appreciate it but differently, more like when you want a change but the best is that you see it yourself
